Window care repair system
Coatech work with the Window Care System: a unique and cost-effective alternative to replacement of traditional wood windows or expensive joinery repairs.
First developed in the Netherlands, this unique system enables us to repair rotted window frames in situ, retaining as much of the existing window as possible.
The Window Care System is a complete pre-painting joinery repair system using a range of epoxy resin-based products for the repair of damaged or decayed wood.

One of our trained staff will ascertain the extent of the decay. We will then specify the repair areas, type of repair and an indication of cost. The decaying wood is removed, using a number of different methods. The repair is then carried out. Once cured, the renovated wood can be sanded and decorated in a traditional manner.
The Window Care System is approved by English Heritage and some National Trust agents. It was used in the restoration of Grade II listed Ludshott Manor in Hampshire.
